My speech on Family Violence
BAAAANG! Family violence hits this world , what can I say ? Family violence affects kids and there futures. Lets look at it this way, family violence could be like broken pieces that go different ways and becomes lost. This is exactly what may happen if violence is active in these families.
First of all the question is, what is family violence ?
Family violence is a situation in which one family member causes physical or emotional harm to another family member. At the centre of this violence are the abuser’s that need to gain power and control over the victim. Abuse could be physical, such as slapping, hitting, kicking, or punching. Abuse also can be emotional, such as threats, harassment and in suits.
Secondly, how does family violence affect children ?
Family violence affects children in different ways depending on their age, and amount of support from other family members. For pre-schoolers they could blame themselves for the violence, they could come distressed, or they can show physical aggression. For primary students they can have difficultly at school, have difficultly concentrating, or have high levels of depression and aggression. Does your child have problems sleeping ? Does your child complain of stomach aches or headaches ? Does he or she seem down and depressed ? There could be signs of children being affected by family violence and need help. If there really being affected badly by family violence this might lead to suicide.
Thirdly, who can help you with family violence?
In my thoughts family violence court can help you with your problems, also the police, lawyer , and are you ok programme can help you with your situation. There are many more different policy’s that can help you with your issue. If you see or hear about violence immediately call the police as soon as possible because they are here to help prevent family violence.
Last but not least, what are some ways to prevent family violence? If you would like to help stop family violence, here are some suggestions: first Learn more about family violence. The more you understand, the easier it will be to recognize it. Second help people who may be victims. Third volunteer with or join an organization that is dedicated to stop family violence.
Finally it has come to the end of my speech, the conclusion. I hope you all have learnt something about family violence and why it is not good. So remember and make sure that you would report the violence straight away if you see it by phone, email or visiting police. So if you do have any other queries or concerns about family violence just look up on internet and it will help you with your situation. Thank you for taking your time to listen to my speech about family violence. One again thank you. J
